It has been so so very hard to post on this blog. My life is no longer with two dogs or a marine husband. He desided to call it quits. it has been a hard hard last 6 months. he took the two dogs to San Diego and he is trying to take the kids too. This blog is just too hard to post on without all the memories so the next blogpost will contain a new blog.

Pay it forward
Iam paying it forward from http://darcyknottyknitter.blogspot.com/ .Pay It Forward is based on this movie with Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey in it called ‘Pay It Forward’. With all of the things happening these days random acts of kindness are a good thing:)How many of you out there have had a chance to watch it? I bought it and lets just say you'll need a big box of kleenex to watch it.This is what the PIF Exchange is all about. I’ll send a gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange! I don’t know what that gift will be yet, and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week…LOL… but you will receive it within 365 days, that’s a promise! The only thing you have to do in return is then 'pay it forward' by doing the same on your own blog.

This weekend was way too short
I know I said I would post pictures later that day and I am sorry I did not deliver but I have a good excuse.
This is Hubby with our oldest 2 children. The first visit in almost 6 months. It was unexpected and fun. Short but fun He came Firday morning and left Tuesday at noon. It really could have been longer but at least we surprised everyone. The only ones who knew were my parents who dropped my kids off at school that day. The kids had no idea that Hubby would pick them up from school that day and the look on their faces was priceless. In prep for this weekend I cleaned all week, dyed my hair (the color hubby wanted) and knit like crazy. I know knitting does not fit with the rest of the items listed but to keep from breaking out in hives again I relieved stress by knitting. I knit these:
Does not look like much but they are really leg warmers.. I mean ballerina socks. My 4yo thought they were dancing ballerina socks and claimed them before I finished the first one. They started out as socks and as you know did not work. Little Miss looks very cute in them. oh and a picture of my hair you ask well if I must. BEFORE:
AFTER:
So what do you think? I know the top of my head is gone in the before but just imagine all my hair being kinda curly and mousy brownish orange. I like it to me I look like me. Was that clear? I look like I think I should. Yes that is better. Well until next time...

I win!
I won the namming contest twice on http://www.knittingrose.blogspot.com/ I re-named her son. No longer Navy nuke. Now he is Goodwrench. Wife is Mrs Goodwrench, children Sparky and Sprocket. I thought of all car parts and tools used. Now I think I might have a bit of an avantage, My hubby is a engeneer. He loves LOVES cars. So I am expossed to more engeneer stuff. Now for the twice thing. The then Navy nuke and wife did not like any names they had gotten so far so Dawn was going to do a random number for the winner. Well she did and drew my name then too. No I do not win two things but I was destined to win. God is telling me to Knit more. I am sure of it. I will post more about normal things in a few hours. I have to scrub my house. Someone is comming to visit this weekend and I want everthing to be perect.

I'm Done.
Finished, Finally. I have to say I thought it would be easier to finish these than it was. I likes the idea of a tank top for the babies in 112* weather. So I knit them out of very soft Bernat yarn. I thought the yarn was the same. My sister and I bought them the same day and I stole hers when she was not using it. But sad to say the yarn acted like night and day. The pink was splitty and hard to work with and the green was easy an smooth to use. It took forever to finish these but they are done. I did start Gir and the CUPCKE OF DOOM(evil voice) and finish them doth in the middle of the green shirt. The pattern started out as Avita. If you have Ravelry then look here:http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/avita
I really liked the look but when I started it just did not work. I changed it to plain garter stich and used her patern as a springboard for a simple tank top. I added daisy buttons as a detail to jazz it up a bit.

Gir
Not grrrrr but Gir said the same way but meaning totaly different things. Gir is a cupcake loving robot who dresses like a green dog to not be noticed on Earth. Ok for you who have no idea what I am talking about it is from a cartoon. My dear B.I.L. introduced us all to Invader Zim. About 7 years ago he LOVED Invader Zim and I believe he still does. Well he and my sister( uncle amanda) are going to have a baby. A baby boy to be more correct. And when I asked him what he wanted me to make this baby boy he replied GIR. I told him: I dont know how to make a gir but I can see what patterns they have on Ravelry. Well Ravelry is AWSOME. Gir in a green dog suit, Just like he had asked for. So I made Gir
I think it is close, Right. I also made Gir a CUPCKAE OF DOOM. And yes that was said with the evil voice and everything. I just crocheted cupcake and then added a easter-egg filled with a few beans before I stuffed the cake. Super easy. But the beans are definatly the doom part. I hated noisey toys. Well I still do and Uncle Amanda LOVES to give them to my liks as gifts. So I thought it would be nice to re-pay her with a little gift of myown. I know beens in an easter-egg is not the same as a highly electronic toy but hey I am not that mean. Uncle Amanda I miss you and home Dan will have fun with THE CUPCAKE OF DOOM. ( again said in evil voice)

I really suck at this blogging thing. I had to take a nother week-ish break because my air-co broke. I left my house at 2:30p and it was a lovely 82* when the kids and I returned at 8:00p it was a very uncomfortable 90* in the house. We had a air-co guy come out the next morning to see what he could do and he dropped the domb. Two weeks before the parts would be able. TWO WEEKS? the motor was not working right and parts are two weeks away. I had to stay at my moms house for the rest of the week. Not so bad for the kids and I but we have a dog that would not be able to go with us. You see he is a 100lb pit bull.
And well he does not get along wit my dads Alaskan. Dozer would have to stay at home. I layed cool towels in the bath to have him lay on, put ice in his water and turned on every fan I could find. It helped that my parents live 5 houses down from me and I could come check on him when needed. Well the air-co guy did not return phone calls or even show back up so we had to find another. The next air co guy said the same thing-two weeks- but he told me that he could fiddle with it and see if he could help. It worked. He got the motor turning and it has been cool in the house after that. My dad came back and told my how everything went and showed me something that he found inside the air-co case. It was something most would not guess. A crochet hook. A bright blue size "g" crochet hook. I checked and it was not mine so the person before us must have been a crocheter. I am so glad the air co is working because the temperature spiked up to 112* and was miserable outside. So if anyone was wondering where I was I have been at my moms cooling off. Next post I promise knitting and/or chrochet photos of what I did while at her house.

365
Today is a hard day. 365 days ago I had to send my Hubby to Iraq. I have to trust God that He would bring my Hubby back so he could meet his child I was still pregnat with.( ok there were 2 children I was pregnant with but we did not know it at the time.) It has been 365 days that I have lived without him in "my" home, and 365 days I have had to be almost a single parent. The military is so hard on raising a family. I camt imagine it any other way but it is still not easy.I will leave you with this: a picture of him on his convoy in Iraq.
I really love & miss you.

Inspire me...
Uncle Amanda this is for you: The bag I made.Well wait no not the bag, the picture is for you. I was thinking of making one for you in blues. Hawaii blues?
I found this bag pattern in a book. I really liked it so I looked it up in Ravelry. Even better on the site. I was able to see how others did there bag. I enlisted my mom(The non-knitter but a hooker crochet-er instead) to help me. She helped me line the bag with the pretty lining. It has fruit and polka-dots in multi-colored-prettiness. I LOVE the way this bag turned out. Tell me what you think. Please let me know if the colors work well or not so much.
I saw a blog post on phoeknits. What inspires you? Well for me it is my kids.
They inspire me to play more,be more, do more. I love my children. Something else that is inspiring to me is Ravelry. I love that site. I have found more than plenty of free patterns that are nowhere else on the web. (Well that I can find in between kids crying.) Just seeing people knitting inspires me to knit and make pretty things.

I'm back
This is an odd blog today. It is an update, so it is a bit mixed up and all around the place.
I am in my house again. We were gone a bit over a week. The tree is gone, Finally. I had bad luck that week.
On Sunday~ I passed out at church, yes cold on the floor passed out. I was on my way to take communion and went blank. Woke up with strange people all over me. Weird.
On Monday~ Tree fell, power outage( very hot without a.c.) My dad was electricuted on the roof fixing said A.c. then he felll off the ladder because he was shocked.
Tuesday was fine-lived at home.
On Wend.~ Second tree fell- had to move out. The tree dangered my house and my childrens bedroom So I had to move out. My car was blocked in and could not get out.
The rest of the week I lived on my parents couch, Two kid cots and two playpens in a living room. Not so bad, I love beeing at my moms house.
My Hubby graduated yesterday. He is on his way back to Cali. He was class high and I am so so proud of him. But with his graduation came some big news. He has a chance to change jobs. He can join "Bomb Squad". Ok not so happy with the name but hey there are some positives.
Positives:
~~large bonus ~~gets promotions faster~~very nice hours ~~ likes the job
Negatives:
~~ Danger-Duh ~~gets deployed more ~~has to train in Florida(9 Months)
I also have the option of moving in with him. We have to decide if I want to have my house and both of our families down the road or we could travel to florida with him or we could moove back to pendelton and live as a family but very far away from the rest of the family. We have a huge decision to make and not huge amount of time to do it in. I am torn of what to decide. I want a sign a huge Billboard saying "Move to Pendelton" or "Stay where you are".
Wow this blog is a bit on the negative attitude. Sorry about that. I will post what I have done with my knitting, Which is a bit and I need pictures of it so Stay Tuned For More.~~ Bean

family emergency...
I have to take a short break. We had a kinda-Big problem at my house. Fires are still in the air and although we are not in danger the air quality is poor. Weird as it seems with california on fire, fire has nothing to do with the problem. A tree in my front yard broke. Yes a HUGE oak broke and cut the electrical lines, caused a small fire and was scarry. The tree was a 4-part tree so one part was lying across the lines. The fire dept. came and took care of all. This happened on Monday. Today is Wend, and another part of my tree fell and laid in the road. No problem this time, Just a HUMUNGO part-tree in the road. All was alright untill we noticed the other 2 of the use-to-be 4 part tree now leaning right over my kids room. The city people decided that it was not safe for me to stay there. So... Here I am with all 4 kids in the living room at my Mamas house. Everything is ok so far, Just please Pray that my home makes it.

Today I ...
need more time...
I have made pancakes, changed 4 pairs of wet undies, changed 8 diapers, feed 4 kids and 2 dogs, cleaned my kitchen, cleaned a bathroom, made 4 beds , un-loaded and re-loaded the dishwasher, done 2 loads of laundry, put away the laundry, watered my plants and lawn, soothed crying kids and comforted a sick 4 year old, all while trying to keep sane. I finished the sweater. I love the way it turned out. I tryed it on puddle(8 m) and on Little miss(4yo) and it is true it fits both well. The idea of the sweater is awsome.
I did however make the sleeves a bit shorter. I wanted the sleeves to be able to fit a baby better than an older child. I want it to be wearable right away but useful later on. I like, as does Little miss, 3/4 length sleeves. It fits her very well. She really likes the sleeves. Her sleeves are usually way way too long. She is kinda small and has small arms but long stilt-like legs. I am sure we will have to lock her up when she gets a bit older. Blonde hair, blue eyes, long legs fair skin, you know only perfect.

And the potty training begins...
Life is short and there are too many diapers to change in a day so we have changed to big boy diapers, at least for my 2 year old baby bear.
